Tamiya Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR (1997) 1/10 RC, TC-01

The Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR first appeared in the Tamiya catalog in 1998 on the TA-03R chassis and later on the easy-to-build TT-01E. This 1/10 scale R/C kit brings it back on the TC-01 chassis, which is meant to deliver the most performance in the line so far. The Mercedes body sits low on a low center of gravity. TC-01 CHASSIS: Composite monocoque frame with shaft-driven 4WD from a central motor, using front and rear propeller shafts and oil-filled gear differentials. Four-wheel independent double wishbone suspension with long arms and inboard front and rear setups. Oil shock dampers are actuated by push rods and rocker arms, which allows low-profile bodies. Spacer width adjusts camber, skid and toe. Suspension arms and uprights are identical left to right and front to rear, which keeps maintenance and pit work simple.
