This R/C car recreates the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution V as a 1/10 scale model assembly kit built on the TT-02 chassis. The fifth-generation Lancer Evolution competed in global rally races in 1998 and won both the Manufacturer's and Driver's Championships. The car has bulging fenders, louvers and air intakes on the hood, and a rear wing. This kit depicts the road car. TT-02: the shaft-driven 4WD chassis places the battery on the left and the motor on the right for stability. Left and right suspension arms and uprights are identical, which simplifies assembly, and the gearboxes are easy to maintain. The chassis offers two wheelbases, two ground clearance settings, two tread setups and 10 gear ratios.
