Mini Coopers have been fan favorites for decades. This 1/10 scale R/C kit recreates the Mini Cooper built by the British Motor Corporation (BMC) from 1959 to 2000. The original Mini went four decades without major model changes. Its front-wheel drive layout was rare at the time, and its compact mechanics and generous interior space set it apart. Its bare-minimum design helped make it an icon. The R/C version uses the MB-01 chassis in the short wheelbase and front motor, front wheel drive (FF) configuration. THE MB-01 CHASSIS: The compact 2WD MB-01 chassis offers three wheelbase options and either front- or rear-wheel drive. The battery pack, motor and R/C equipment stay in the center frame. To switch drive direction, change the attachment direction of the final gears and steering linkage. Rear-wheel drive cars can use a low or high motor position. The four-wheel double wishbone suspension is symmetrical and uses friction dampers. Unitized sections such as the motor mount, final gears and suspension make assembly and maintenance easier. Fits general hobby universal fit items.
