This 1/10 scale R/C assembly kit recreates the Opel Kadett GT/E on the versatile MB-01 chassis. The MB-01 is set up in its long wheelbase, midship rear motor, rear-wheel-drive (MR) configuration to match the real car's layout. The Opel Kadett GT/E arrived in 1975 as a high-spec version of the Kadett, which was very popular in Europe during the 1970s. It had a two-door coupe body, a high-spec 1.9-liter engine and reinforced suspension. Opel's works team, satellite teams and privateers ran modified versions in rally races, and in 1976 the car secured second place in the manufacturer's championship in global rallying. MB-01: a compact 2WD chassis with three wheelbase options and front- or rear-wheel drive. The drive direction can be switched by changing the attachment direction of the final gears and steering linkage, without removing the battery, motor or R/C gear from the center frame. Low or high motor position is available for rear-wheel-drive builds. The 4-wheel double wishbone suspension is symmetrical.
