The Hornet turns 40 in 2024, and this kit marks the occasion with an updated version of the original off-road buggy, first released in 1984. It is a fun variant meant for new hobbyists and veterans alike. The kit keeps the original Hornet's bathtub frame and adds four-wheel independent double wishbone suspension with oil dampers. A sealed rear gearbox keeps dust out and a built-in 3-bevel differential handles corners smoothly. Three-piece assembly wheels pair with ribbed front tires and high-grip spike rear tires.

• The 0.7mm thick light weight, durable polycarbonate body matches the shape of the classic Hornet body. Included stickers cover the orange and yellow scheme, logos and car numbers.
• The 2WD chassis uses the same bathtub frame as the original Hornet (Item 58336)
• Fits the Tamiya The Hornet and general hobby universal fit items.
