This R/C kit depicts the Tamiya Quirkhopper, an original body design built on the GF-02 chassis. The GF-02 is a gear-driven 4WD chassis. Its motor sits low and central in a light weight, durable monocoque frame, and gears send power to the front and rear. A long wheelbase and wide tread keep off-road handling stable. The slim frame has ladder and pipe motifs and sealed gearboxes that keep stones out. Front and rear gear differentials help corners. Pinion gears sold separately offer a choice of three gear ratios, and a motor guard improves reliability off road. Four-wheel double wishbone suspension uses four friction dampers. The steering servo sits on the left with identical-length tie-rods.
