Non-vented shock caps, sold as a pair. They are CNC machined from aluminum and black anodized. In some conditions a non-vented cap handles better than a vented one, and in others the reverse is true, so the choice is yours. Vented here means a small hole on top of the cap, inside the shock mount eyelet. It is not the bleeder hole on the side of the cap. The bladder in a shock makes up for the volume the shaft displaces as it moves, and there is air between the bladder and the top of the cap. A vented cap lets that air escape at full compression and re-enter at full extension or anywhere between. A non-vented cap traps the air, which compresses and creates more rebound and a more progressive feel. These caps let you tune in more rebound, and they handle hard landings better than vented caps.
