Universal driveshafts for the front and rear of the EB48.3 and NB48.3 1/8 buggies. The set contains two hardened steel shafts, CNC machined and black oxidized for wear resistance. Excess material is removed to reduce weight without sacrificing strength. Universal shafts suit bumpy, rough tracks. The suspension moves more freely without the binding of a CVA assembly, which helps the car absorb bumps and lowers the risk of catching a rut and flipping in a corner. On smoother tracks, CVAs offer more traction and support, but universals work well with small suspension setup changes such as springs and oil. Universal joints need almost no maintenance, and dirt does not foul the joint. The shafts drop into the EB and NB48.3 when you add 8x16x5mm bearings, TKRBB08165, one each.
