The A-1 Skyraider was first introduced in 1946. It served as the US Navy's last piston-engined attack aircraft for thirty years, and its final duties were close air support and rescue helicopter escort in the Vietnam War. This kit depicts the most produced variant, the A-1H, and reproduces its sturdy form. The engine cowl flaps, wing flaps and dive brakes can be posed open or closed. Parts for ordnance such as 250lb bombs and 5-inch rockets let you build a fully armed aircraft. One pilot figure and three marking options are included. Fits general hobby plastic models.
