Tamiya's 1/12 large-scale model of the Renault RE-20 Turbo. This is a re-release of a kit first issued in 2006, with Cartograf decals and marking instructions. Paint and assembly are required. ABOUT THE CAR: In 1977 Renault's RS-01, the first turbo-engine Formula One car, began racing. By 1979 the RS-10 had won its first triumph. The RE-20 Turbo was a modified RS-10 that lost 30kg and used a 1.5-liter twin-turbo V6 DOHC engine producing around 520hp. This reissue depicts the pioneer car of the F1 turbo era.
