A limited re-release of Tamiya's 1/12 Big Scale Series kit, item 12011, with photo-etched parts included. It marks the first victory of Honda's third venture into Formula One, at the Hungarian Grand Prix. In 1966 the F1 regulations moved from 1.5-liter to 3-liter engines, and Honda had to start from scratch again. The RA273 was not ready until the Italian Grand Prix that autumn. With Richie Ginther driving, it proved more powerful than its rivals, and Ginther finished the season fourth. The RA273 gave way to the much improved RA300 after most of the 1967 season.
