The clipless body mount Traxxas uses on the X-Maxx is convenient, but its screw holes tend to crack, and a cracked body can be ruined quickly. If a mounting screw has pulled through the body, or looks likely to, these Body Savers keep the body secure without bulky thick washers or a new body. RPM Body Savers are a simple fix. At the front, they look like molded hood vents (2) and A/C vents (2). At the rear, they look like exposed sections of riveted metal (2). The disguise hides their purpose while keeping the body firmly attached. The front pieces work like oversized washers, with far more surface area than standard washers and no loss of appearance. At the rear, two pairs of screws hold the body mount sub-frame to the body. The rear Body Savers join the two pairs, spreading the holding force over a wide area.
