The Ascent-18 International Scout II brushless is a 1:18 scale ready-to-run rock crawler for compact crawling, whether on backyard boulders or indoor obstacle courses. It runs a 3450kv 1212-size brushless motor and a 3-channel ESC. The package includes a 2.4GHz radio, a 750mAh 2S LiPo battery and a charger. Four AA batteries are needed to get rolling. Despite its size, the Scout II is built to the same standard as the 1:10 scale models: Brushless power: the 3450kv motor adds speed and torque with better run-time efficiency. Precision steering: a new High Steer front end allows tighter turning and greater articulation, with a redesigned axle housing and portal setup. Metal throughout: portal gears, ring-and-pinion internals, machined aluminum spools and chassis rails. Custom tuning: aluminum-capped oil-filled shocks.
