Finished in orange, the Ascent-18 brushless crawler rides on an aluminum chassis with portal axles, machined aluminum spools and metal drivetrain gears. It delivers solid ground clearance, torque and dependability. A new High Steer layout improves steering angle and clearance at the C-Hub. To get there, the front axle housing, front portal and steering links were redesigned, and front portal universal shafts were added. The result is more steering than earlier versions. Aluminum-capped oil-filled shocks and full ball bearings give steady trail performance. The ready-to-run kit includes a 2.4GHz radio, a 4kg metal-gear micro servo, a 750mAh 2S LiPo battery and a charger. A quick-release front tilt body makes maintenance simple, with no body clips needed.
