This Tamiya 4-channel remote controller has a two-grip design rather than the usual box shape, and it is shaped to sit comfortably in both hands. Four control sticks each operate one motor, so it can handle complex robots with up to four motors. The controller takes both R20/D/UM1 and R14/C/UM2 batteries and can switch between low-power (2V) and high-power (3V) operation. The sticks are placed for a natural control layout. The two sticks on the face handle basic movements such as forward, reverse, and left and right turns. The sticks can be used together or on their own. The unit includes a 2-meter control cable for freedom of movement. It controls up to four 130 or 260 type motors, which are sold separately.
