About this part
This 1/48 scale kit recreates the 75mm Howitzer Motor Carriage M8, a self-propelled howitzer used by the US in World War II. Built on the M5 Stuart tank chassis, it carried an M116 howitzer in an M7 mount. About 1,800 were built from September 1942 to early 1944, and they served in Italy, Western Europe and the Pacific. This is a completely new kit design based on research of the actual vehicle.
