Tamiya's 1/24 scale kit of the Nissan Skyline 2000 Turbo GT-E. The original motorized version (Item 24022) came out in 1981. This edition has a new instruction manual, decals and packaging. The 2000 Turbo GT-ES was the sporty version of the sixth-generation Skyline, which debuted in August 1981. Its wedge-shaped body housed a 2-liter inline-six turbo rated at 145hp, with four-wheel independent suspension whose stiffness the driver could adjust from the seat. That was a first for a mass-production car. Disc brakes were fitted on all four wheels.
