Black RPM rear shock towers for the Traxxas Slash 4x4 and Telluride, built to take serious abuse without breaking on the track or trail. Structurally, they are about as strong as a shock tower can be, so the suspension moves freely without added flex. Under extreme crash loads, the proprietary material gives slightly to absorb impact energy, which protects the tower and cuts the shock energy passed to the more fragile differential cases. It then returns to its original shape almost immediately. The towers keep the large dust cover ribs that overlap the tops of the differential case, adding protection against dirt and grit.
