About this part

A heavy-duty optional upgrade splined star drive axle kit from Hot Racing for TRA electric Stampede 4x4, Slash 4x4, Rustler 4x4 and 2WD Slash. It is not for the ULTIMATE. The kit is CNC machined from #45 hardened carbon steel, S2 spring steel and aluminum. It replaces the factory plastic drive axles.

Features

• Hard black anodized aluminum slider
• Blue anodized aluminum pin capture rings with rubber o-rings to prevent movement
• Design eliminates the CV pin setscrew
• Hardened S2 spring steel wheel shaft
• #45 steel with black finish, S2 spring in brown finish
• Rubber dust boot for protection from the elements

• Two rear CV splined drive shaft assemblies
• Two M4 x 2.5 x 11mm screw shafts

Requirements

• Installation
• Removable thread lock (blue threadlocking compound) on screws that thread into metal
• Light grease on the CV joints and slider splines to extend their life

Notes

• Replaces factory plastic TRA parts 9052. Replacement parts include SLD425 (M4 x 2.5 x 11mm screw shafts).
