About this part
The 1968 Corvette was redesigned with curving lines inspired by Chevrolet's Mako Shark II concept car. The top performance version was the L88, with the 427 cubic inch big-block V-8, rated at an estimated 500 horsepower and set under a high-rise hood that lesser Corvettes did not share. This Revell kit builds either a factory-stock L88 convertible or a street machine with a blown-and-injected 427 poking through the hood.
