JConcepts 1/8th Buggy Tire, Dirt Web 2, Green Compound, Fits 83mm 1/8th Buggy Wheel

About this part

The Dirt Web 2 is a JConcepts 83mm 1/8th buggy tire in green compound. The original Dirt Web bar tread arrived in 2013 for indoor off-road racing. It was co-designed by Jason Ruona and Brian Kinwald and remains a favorite. Bar tire racing has grown in 1/8th off-road, particularly in Europe, where surfaces are smooth, rubber-based, or glue-treated, so racing is very fast and consistent. The Dirt Web 2 was developed in 2024. It has the same basic look as 2013, with thicker sections, repeated sections, and connecting bars. Its open center section provides forward bite and room for the tread to open under acceleration. The outer sections have a dense arrangement of Dirt Web connections for contact patch during high-speed cornering. Small pins sit between the pattern and add contact as the tire wears.
