JConcepts 1/8th Buggy Tire, Falcon, Blue Compound, Fits 83mm 1/8th Buggy Wheel

About this part

The Falcon is a JConcepts tire for 83mm 1/8th buggy wheels, in blue compound. It uses a triple-row, double-spaced pin layout with tapered, square-shaped pins. The pins are packed closely enough to form a rubber contact patch that handles harder surfaces and resists wear. The Falcon shape came out of prototyping different methods for side-bite stability. Connecting bars link the center pins to resist flex and give a solid base. The outer rows have clipped corners and rolled sidewall pins, which open up more clean-out room for deep dirt, loam, or sand. The tire stays stable at high speed and offers strong bite, and it stays balanced in extreme conditions. The radial ribbing inside the tire works with the included Dirt-Tech inserts to form a tight, balanced package that rolls well through turns. For a complete racing setup, mount the tire to JConcepts #3357 wheels, sold separately in bright white or fluorescent yellow.
