The Runner is a concept monster truck tire in medium gold compound. Its tread has been shaved and lowered to offer the smoothest driving surface of any JConcepts monster truck tire. Scale monster truck tires used to be modified by knife, which could take up to 40 hours per tire. The lugs are completely lowered for a low-profile stance and have a front and rear edge, so they dig in both directions without throwing much loose dirt. The sidewalls have radius upper corners and chamfers that remove overhung tread, which keeps the design light and helps the truck rotate quickly through high-traction turns. The wide-body look of the carcass matches other JConcepts tires such as the Racer, Renegades, Launch, and Knobs, and they can be combined. Fits Tamiya Vintage 58065 Clod Buster and Tamiya Vintage 58089 Bullhead.
