FOC drive mode gives strong low-speed torque and smooth running at extreme low speed. It is well ahead of common sensored brushless systems, and even ahead of brushed systems. A sine wave drive keeps efficiency high and heat low, which extends run time. The motor also runs quieter and softer. The system is rated IP67 for water and dust resistance, so it can handle silt, ice, snow, and water. Intelligent torque output and closed-loop speed control give cruise control and slow descent on steep slopes, like a full-size vehicle. Active drag brake adjustment provides strong holding force on a grade. Protection functions include battery low-voltage protection, overheat protection, throttle loss protection, and lock-up protection. The ESC supports an LED program box for setting parameters.
