The partnership between Team Associated and Yokomo goes back to 1972. Their work on Yokomo's YZ-10 in the early 1980s is an important chapter in RC racing history. At the 1989 IFMAR Worlds in Australia, Cliff Lett, Masami Hirosaka, Jay Halsey, and Butch Kloeber showed the YZ-10's 4-wheel drive strength and ran Team Associated's RC10s to dominate 2-wheel drive. At the 1991 IFMAR Worlds, Masami Hirosaka arrived at the last minute with the Yokomo Works '91, a revolutionary prototype built on the winning YZ-10. It used a graphite chassis and 2mm fine pitch drive belts, and Cliff Lett won the event with it. This kit is the Team Associated / Yokomo YZ-10 Classic in blue.
