A performance rig built to endure. The Ecto Portal RTR trail truck is for drivers who want confidence on the trail. The truck uses high-clearance portal axles with all-metal gears, ball bearings, and a larger pocket for a heavier-duty inner input bearing. They offer almost an inch more clearance than standard straight axles. The Stealth X gearbox looks conventional outside, but it lets you adjust the rear drive ratio separately from the front across three levels. Stock overdrives the front end 5.7% (installed in the RTR). Option 1 gives a one-to-one front-to-rear ratio (sold separately). Option 2 overdrives the front end 11.83% (included with the RTR). Power goes to the tires through 3-piece telescopic driveshafts with an extruded aluminum center section, universal front drive axles, and hardened steel ring and pinion gears.
