Rat rods grew out of older coupes that were lightened, streamlined, and tuned for more power. Popular after World War II, these heavy cars had their tops chopped and their windshields lowered and sloped backward, and they competed in speed contests. Team Associated honors that style with the Pro2 RT10SW, a detailed, ready-to-run RC rat rod based on the 9-time ROAR Short Course National Championship-winning trucks. It pairs a water-resistant high-power Reedy brushless speed control with a 3300kV brushless motor, a 2.4GHz 2-channel radio system, and the DVC (Dynamic Vehicle Control) receiver unit with a built-in adjustable digital gyro. A Reedy metal-gear digital high-torque servo and a water-resistant enclosed receiver box are included, along with a factory-finished body. High-grip all-terrain tires and lightweight wheels come with the truck for cornering grip.
