CNC machined 7075-T6 aluminum pivot balls for the HPI Wheely King, which can also be used in other applications. The factory Wheely King uses steel hollow balls, which add up in weight. These aluminum balls cut about 8 grams and keep the original factory tightness in the rod ends. The balls are hard anodized, a process that forms a grey aluminum oxide layer to reduce wear and friction.
