The VS4-10 Portal Axle Builders Kit is built around the highest-spec VFD Twin transmission and F10 portal axles offered in a kit. It is made for demanding terrain, with strong ground clearance and a low center of gravity. DRIVETRAIN: The VFD Twin transmission offers selectable overdrive shifting from 6.5% to 46% and a three-position dig unit in a compact package. Machined internal gears, metal bearing plates and a machined aluminum motorplate support long service life. ISD10 driveshafts with machined CV-style joints deliver power smoothly. The F10 portal axles have a compact design, with machined hypoid gears, chromoly spools and brass axle tube inserts for strength and weight distribution.
