Carbon fiber short rear shock tower for the NB48 2.0 buggy. It can improve the look of the car, and carbon's slight give can help bump handling and grip compared to aluminum. Running both front and rear carbon towers reduces the vehicle weight by 50 grams. That lowers the center of gravity slightly and can help corner speed. The tower is 5mm thick and handles all but the most severe racing impacts. It directly replaces the stock aluminum TKR9269S, and no additional parts are needed. Tip: run a bead of super glue or tire glue around the edges to help seal and bond the layers and extend the life of the tower. Note: if you are new to racing, keep in mind that carbon is not as strong as stock aluminum.
