Rear stub axles machined from 7075 aluminum and hard anodized for wear resistance. They replace the steel stub axles (TKR6270R) directly and need no additional parts. The aluminum axles cut rotating mass and unsprung weight by more than 5 grams per pair, or over 10 grams for a full front and rear set. That reduction improves acceleration and suspension efficiency. The axles have three locations for CVA pin placement, which extends their service life. These axles are built for performance in the competitive 13.5 4WD class and may not last as long as the stock steel axles. Anyone learning to drive a 1/10 4WD buggy, or anyone who needs the most durable setup, should keep the stock axles.
