Photo-etched parts give a model a professional-level finish, but stainless metal is harder to work than plastic. Tamiya's three photo-etch tools are designed to be used together: modeling scissors for cutting out the part, a diamond file for removing flash, and bending pliers for shaping. This diamond file is suited to light carving of hard materials such as stainless metal. It will not snag on thin photo-etched parts, and it cuts equally well in any direction.
