Tamiya's torque-tuned 540 motor falls between a standard Type 540 motor and the Item 53068 Sport-Tuned motor. Compared with a standard 540 at standard gear ratios, it gives a higher top speed and better acceleration. It is a good first step in tuning, and it works from on-road to off-road models, including big tire vehicles.
