Speed run steel spur gear from Hot Racing with 48 teeth and a 48 pitch, for the TRA 4-Tec 2.0 and 3.0. The gear is CNC machined from lightened, hardened steel, and it replaces the stock nylon spur gear.

Requirements

• Hardened 48 pitch steel pinion gear

Specifications

• Teeth: 48
• Pitch: 48
• Face width: about 5mm

Comments

• Use a pinion no smaller than 37T and no larger than 43T, in 48 pitch.
• The TRF38CX01 speed run gear cover is required.
• For EZ gear mesh adjustment, use TRF18A01.
• A large pinion or a small spur will strain the motor and generate more heat in the ESC and motor.
• This is not a factory recommended gear ratio.
