A pair of front bearing driveshaft conversions for the Schumacher 1:10 Cat PB 4x4 buggy. Ball bearings take the place of the usual pinned dog bone on the front output. A pinned dog bone adds support and bind, which keeps the chassis flatter in corners and gives the car more forward drive. With the bearing system the chassis can roll more when the transmission is loaded, and the front suspension moves more freely. That means steering and suspension respond less to throttle input. The team found this gives more steering, and the nose tucks into the corner for faster pivoting. The team saw the best results on medium and high grip surfaces.
