The Avalon Vortex is a 190mm touring body for 1/10 scale touring car racing, developed and manufactured in Germany by Avalon Racing. It was designed in 3D CAD and refined through test drives by several drivers on different circuits. The ducktail rear wing lowers rotational inertia and produces controllable downforce for higher cornering speeds and steadier lap times. The curved rear wing profile supports airflow and rear stability, and its wide adjustment range allows tuning for different tracks, grip levels and driving styles. The body's stiff structure and geometry pass aerodynamic loads efficiently to the chassis.
