About this part
A double spring set for HPI Savage on-road builds. The two springs work together. At the start of travel the main and tender springs compress together, giving a softer initial rate. Once the tender spring fully closes, only the main spring deflects, giving a firmer finish. The rate is soft enough to ride over road irregularities and keep the tires in contact with the surface. It is firm enough to limit body roll, squat and dive under cornering, acceleration and braking.
