The Revolver, RPM's most popular wheel, is now offered in a short course version measuring 2.2 to 3.0 inches. This pink pair is built tough and uses an all-new spline drive designed to handle serious power. A spline is tougher and stronger than a hex, which is why it is used in full-size driveline parts. Hex adapters tend to push out and up as torque is applied, and that is a major reason they spin. The spline drive directs the axle's rotational force in a nearly perpendicular direction, so a spun adapter is very unlikely. It also has almost twice the drive surface area of a standard 12mm hex and more than 2.5 times the thickness at the most critical drive point, where a standard hex adapter would spin.
