Shock shaft guards for TRA GTR shocks, sold in sets of four. Rocks, dirt and debris striking an exposed shock shaft cause dents, dings and burrs. Those marks damage the shaft seals, which leads to leaks and weaker shock performance. These guards shield the shaft, extending its life and the time between shock rebuilds. The guard is a two-piece design that replaces the stock shock spring cup. A thin but tough shield bolts on and rises to the base of the shock body, blocking debris from the shaft. The back and sides stay open so mud does not collect inside. The front shield covers more than 100 degrees of frontal exposure. The guards never touch the moving parts of the shock. Nothing more is needed for installation.
