Racers Edge quick-repair solder tubes for 14 to 16 AWG wire, sold in packs of 6. They let you make a wire repair at the track, flight line, or bench without a soldering iron. Choose the size that suits the wire, center the unshielded wires inside the tube, and shrink it with a lighter (good) or a heat gun (better). The solder bonds the wires, and a shrink band holds the clear protective tubing in place. Fits general hobby use: Airsoft, HO scale train, model rockets, N scale train, Pinewood Derby, and plastic models.
