PineCar's Pre-Cut Wedge gives you a plain, pre-cut wedge-shaped block of carefully selected, fine-grained soft wood that is easy to shape and sand. The block has pre-cut axle grooves, and you cut out your own design. It serves as the platform for your derby car, and instructions are enclosed. Includes one wedge wood block body. Requires a coping saw or hand saw, sandpaper (80, 120, and 220 grit), wood sealer, a drill, wheels, axles, weights, a pencil, and paint. Dimensions: 7 in long (178 mm), 1-3/4 in wide (43 mm), height tapering from 1 in to 1/8 in (25 mm to 30 mm). Suited to general hobby Pinewood Derby use.
