A pair of Pit Bull Rock Beast XOR 2.2/3.0 inch short course tires in Komp Kompound, which is the ultra soft option. The set includes two standard machined foam inserts. These are not the closed-cell shaped Vamonos foams. The Rock Beast XOR B/SC is a miniaturized version of the Champion Pit Bull Rocker LT 1:1 tire, which has been used on full-size short course and desert trucks as a proven point-and-shoot tire. Pit Bull designed these for R/C short course trucks, so they can also be run in the backyard or on the street. The multi-varied tread increases forward, reverse, and lateral traction with a firm bite across the footprint. Design features aim to raise speed and control while improving stability and contact patch. Pit Bull uses its ZipTrak Technology to limit ballooning. Ribbing on the inside, just under the tread area, is meant to help the belt hold and strengthen the tire. It also keeps the foam in place and prevents slipping. The tire offers good lateral bite, stickiness, and traction. COMPOUNDS: Basher Kompound: a medium compound for those who want a firmer option.
