About this part
MPC's 1/20 scale George Barris Ricksha is a custom show rod for experienced modelers who like whimsical, wild builds. Barris, a well-known car customizer, created it in the early 1970s, drawing on many aspects of Asian culture. It features a 327 V-8 Chevy engine, an air cleaner made from a two-headed dragon, a Samurai sword acting as the steering wheel, spaghetti-style exhaust pipes, a small sacred Buddha statue at the rear of the body, and a traditional sun hat on top of the radiator. It is fully paintable, includes an expanded authentic water-slide decal sheet, and comes in Retro Deluxe MPC vintage packaging.
