The Arina is a new design from the JConcepts Speed Lab, with an elliptical pattern scattered across the tread. It comes pre-mounted on 3357w wheels in sticky green compound, which gives heavy forward bite. The center section, called the marina, has back-to-back shaped pins that hold grip through high-speed expansion. Half-height dog bone pins between them add contact patch once the tire has worn in. A band of horizontal pins with slightly recessed, divided faces gives several bite edges on fresh track. The crisp pins work best in slightly fluffy conditions, fresh water and outside loam. A continuous radius carcass with inner radial ribs helps it carry speed and precision through turns. Chamfered edge pins make it easier to drive at higher speeds while keeping side bite.
