A replica bodyshell of the BMW 2002 Turbo, added to the Sport 3 line-up in 1:10 scale. The 2002 Turbo was introduced in 1973 as the first production turbocharged car from BMW and from any European maker. Its 2.0-liter turbocharged engine used an exhaust turbocharger, and its bold design and racing pedigree made it a classic. Under the body is the HPI Racing Sport 3 touring car chassis. It has full-time shaft drive, a fully sealed 4WD drivetrain, waterproof electronics, 2.4GHz radio gear, fully independent double wishbone suspension and adjustable oil-filled shocks. It is a brushed model, ready to run in all conditions.
