The Guillows Kit #105 Sopwith Camel recreates the British fighter credited with downing 1,294 enemy aircraft, more than any other Allied fighter of the war. This 1/19 scale balsa wood model uses precision laser-cut balsa parts and spans 18 inches. It is a good choice for a detail-focused scale builder or a free-flight flyer. The kit includes: Detailed building plans and instructions Scale WWI plastic wheels A full set of decals Vacuum-formed plastic parts A FAI Tan rubber power motor Propeller Tissue covering Suitable for hobbyists aged 14 and up. Made in the USA. Not included: a flat pinnable work surface such as a piece of thick cardboard or cork sheet, pins for holding parts during assembly, a razor blade or hobby knife, sandpaper, glue, and paint with a brush.
