Great Planes Pro CA- Thick Glue, 2 oz

About this part

Great Planes Pro CA- Glue, thick viscosity, 2 oz bottle. This glue is clear, pure and consistent from bottle to bottle, and it is formulated to wick into balsa for the strongest joint available. Each Pro CA viscosity (CA, CA+ and CA-) has been tested to reach the penetration its application needs. CA is an acid-stabilized adhesive that sets when moisture contacts it. Water overcomes the small amount of acid, so the moisture on the part and in the air bonds the glue within seconds. Plywood, spruce and balsa contain natural acids that can counteract the stabilizers, slowing the cure or preventing it. Pro CA is surface insensitive, so it bonds well to all surfaces, especially balsa. Activator can be used to speed the cure and add strength. Suited to general hobby work: Airsoft, HO scale train, model rockets, N scale train, Pinewood Derby and plastic models.
