About this part

A hard-anodized 7075 aluminum 26-tooth idler gear for the B7, B6.3 and B6.2 layback and stand-up gearboxes. It replaces the stock 26T plastic idler and is a sensible choice for high-power or high-grip racing. Aluminum is stronger than plastic but not indestructible, so use black or white grease on the gears, reapply it often, and keep the slipper properly adjusted.
