The CC CapPack is a capacitor pack for brushless motor applications. It adds a small boost where battery voltage ripples from hard acceleration or long battery wires. Ripple is hard on an ESC, and the CapPack reduces the load on the controller's onboard capacitors. Helis: Recommended for 500 class and larger helis, where Y harnesses and long wires can bleed voltage and hard collective pulls strain the battery. Cars and trucks: Going from 0 to 100 percent throttle is demanding on controllers and batteries. The CapPack helps the system handle that load. Aircraft: Larger electric systems often mean longer distances between battery and ESC. Added wire adds inductance, which can raise ripple voltage. The CapPack offsets the ripple caused by up to 8 inches of added wire. Fits: Associated RC-8e, RC8.1e, RC-8.2e; Associated RC-8e Truck electric; Associated SC-10 4x4 Short Course; Durango DESC410R 1:10 Electric 4WD Short Course Truck; Durango DEX408 1:8 Electric buggy; Duratrax Dxr8-E buggy
