This is an original stock replacement tire from AKA Racing. The Gridiron II carries a World Championship-winning carcass borrowed from the Impact tire. It has waffle ribbing to control tire expansion and angled side pins for better performance on rough tracks. The tire is 5% lighter than its predecessor, which helps acceleration and overall performance. It uses AKA's proprietary, World Championship-winning compounds. It is made for cold conditions, where an abrasive or highly polished track causes more wheel spin and wear. It is designed, tested, and made in the USA.
